1855 - Farm Ownership in Prospect Heights
Before becoming a major metropolitan center, Brooklyn consisted mainly of super-segmented plot lands for farming. The land at which 61 Eastern Parkway would later stand was owned by a Mr Evans and later transfered to Mr Glover (seen in the top right quadrant of the map). Unfortunately, not much is known about these individuals, but thanks to these historical maps, their names are not lost to history. This map includes a view of the future site of 61 Eastern Parkway.

All frames are custom cut and sized to match the dimensions of the image. Your final, framed print might not exactly match the dimensions listed in the Frame Size dropdown menu.
The maximum dimensions of each frame size are:- Keepsake: Up to 5" x 7"
- Accent: Up to 9" x 12"
- Spotlight: Up to 16" x 20"
- Centerpiece: Up to 34" x 36"
- Gallery: Up to 32" x 40"
Because of the original pixel size of the scans, not all prints are available in all sizes.

Shipping is always free!
Prints will be scanned at the archives, and retouched by our artists to make them pixel-perfect. They will then be reprinted, trimmed, matted and framed to fit their custom sizes.
You should expect the final, framed print in 4-6 weeks. Because each print is custom researched, retouched, and framed, all sales are final.
